THE CHILDREN by Lucy Kirkwood

Inspired by the 2011 Fukushima nuclear explosion and tsunami in Japan. Two retired nuclear physicists, live in a remote cottage on the coast. The world outside is dealing with a major disaster at a nearby nuclear power station. They are visited by Rose, a friend and fellow nuclear physicist with a hidden agenda.

At the same time as Australia Debates a Nuclear Future in our Federal Election, We ask the question: When do We Take Responsibility For the World that We Leave THE CHILDREN?

Our venue & Bar opens 1 hour prior to showtime. We recommend arriving at least 30 min early as the advised showtime is when the show will begin. 

Accessibility

PIP theatre is fully accessible via the foyer lift. We have dedicated accessibility spaces and are equipped with wheelchair-accessible amenities. Please email info@piptheatre.org for any questions or to book a companion card ticket.

Parking

Parking spaces located under the theatre in the Savoir Faire Car Park (Driveway located next to Maple Fusion Chinese Restaurant). Free on weekends and after 4pm weekdays. Plenty of street parking is also available along Park Road and surrounding streets.
