SYNOPSIS

Two people, connected through grief, grapple with life, loss, and lies. One is the younger brother of the famously successful favourite son. The other keeps losing parts of herself as she falls deeper and deeper in love with someone she thinks she knows. Both are wrapped up in secrets and shame and a desperate need to be loved. All this, generously garnished with nuggets of humour – it’s Seawall meets Fleabag (minus the hamster themed cafe).

Pieces of Shit is an exciting new work written and performed by Bronte Charlotte and Leigh Scully, examining the moments in life that change us forever. Inspired by real-life stories of not-quite-making-it to the bathroom, Pieces of Shit explores the ways in which toxic masculinity challenges our sense of safety, morality, and self. Nominated for Best Production, Best Ensemble and Best New Writing for the Green Room Awards, Pieces of Shit is coming to Brisbane for 3 nights only so do not miss out!
