Brisbane, we’ve levelled up! This spontaneous, exhilarating play-reading event now takes place once a month on Mondays at PIP Theatre in Milton, and has a new residency at the iconic Theatreworks in St Kilda, Melbourne.

Doors open at 6pm — arrive early to grab a drink, mingle with fellow theatre lovers, and settle in before the big 6:30pm reveal… that’s when the play(s) for the night are announced!

ACTORS: Want to stay sharp and stretch your cold reading muscles? Grab a PLAY Reader Ticket ($22). No prep, no pressure, just pure play. Scripts are projected so you can move and explore the work in a fun, supportive “actor’s gym” environment.

AUDIENCE: Looking for a creative, affordable night out? For just $12, enjoy a night of raw performance and spontaneous storytelling as local actors bring scripts to life before your eyes.
