WAYS TO WORK IN OUR VENUE

1.

VENUE HIRE

PIP Theatre provides venue hire for productions, rehearsals, workshops, and events. We offer standard hire rates (daily, hourly, or weekly) tailored to different usage needs. This model is suited for shorter runs of less than 2 weeks, one-off shows, or situations where a set hire fee is preferable to a box office split. For productions or ticketed events, producers keep 100% of the net box office earnings under this arrangement.

Please email info@piptheatre.org for hire details.

2.

CO-PRODUCTION

Co-productions are programmed as part of PIP Theatre’s curated season. A co-production means sharing resources, expertise, and some level of financial risk and reward. Rather than a standard venue hire model, co-productions operate on a net box office split agreement. Applications for co-productions open at the beginning of each year for the following year and are assessed according to our programming criteria. Co-productions are ideal for a run of 2-3 weeks.

3.

PIP PRODUCTION

PIP Productions are produced and funded by PIP Theatre, showcasing stories that align with our mission to inspire social change through performance. These productions are programmed internally, with opportunities opening for creatives and crew to be involved.

PIP Theatre is now accepting proposals for our 2027 co-production season! This model is a collaboration between PIP Theatre and independent producers, where we share resources, expertise, and financial risk to bring impactful productions to the stage.

Co-productions are assessed against our programming criteria, ensuring they align with our mission to foster creativity, engage audiences, and inspire social change.

Applications open at the beginning of each year for the following year’s season. If you have a bold, thought-provoking work that deserves a stage, we’d love to hear from you.
