Enter Molly, a committed fan with an axe to grind. And a gun. Faced with the true impact of her life’s work, Margot must defend her choices to not only Molly and her gun, but a host of friends and foes shaped by her fickle musings, and ultimately, us.
As we navigate the turbulent terrain of the online battle of the sexes and international political discourse that seeps into the Australian zeitgeist, Female of the Species emerges as an Australian classic with piercing relevance almost twenty years since its premiere.
