ACCESSIBILITY
Entry
PIP Theatre is full accessible via the foyer life, where you can access both the bar on level one and the theatre on level two.
Wheelchair Seating
Our theatre has dedicated wheelchair spaces. To ensure the best possible experience, it is essential that we obtain all the necessary information at the time of booking. Please email info@piptheatre.org before or after booking to ensure accessible seating is arranged prior to your visit.
Assistance Dogs
PIP Theatre welcomes patrons accompanied by a guide, hearing, or assistance dogs. Please email info@piptheatre.org at the time of book so we can assign accessible seating.
Accessible Amenities
Two accessible bathrooms are located in our venue. One on level one and another on level two. Both are accessible via the lift. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about accessibility. You may view our access statement here
Companion Cards
PIP Theatre is an affiliate of the Queensland Government’s Companion Card program. Companion Cardholders are eligible for a single complimentary ticket for their chosen companion.
Please email info@piptheatre.org to book your complimentary ticket. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details at the time of booking and present their card at the venue.
We do not have assigned seating. The patron bringing their companion may purchase their own full-price ticket online (or over the phone), and can be seated together despite a separate transaction of the companion card ticket.
BOX OFFICE
Our box office opens one hour before each performance.
We strongly recommend booking tickets online to avoid disappointment. If you do prefer to purchase at the venue, we would advise checking online or giving us a call first to confirm if there are tickets left.
THEATRE ETIQUETTE
Dress Code
We do not have a dress code! We only ask you to be mindful of the weather as our terrace and bar are located outdoors and our theatre is air-conditioned.
View Discretion
Please be aware of the content warnings regarding each show. At PIP our mission involves presenting social-relevant shows, some of which may have topics that aren’t suitable for everyone. Please feel free to contact our staff with any questions or concerns.
Arrival
We recommend you arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the show as the time on your ticket indicates the curtain time. Lockout periods may apply to latecomers.
Ticket
We encourage you to show your ticket on your phone to save paper, although you are most welcome to print your PDF ticket to bring for checking.
Phones/No Cameras
Please ensure your phone is turned off during the performance as it prevents disturbance for both the patrons and the actors onstage.
Filming and photography are strictly prohibited during performances.
