Welcome to Sunny Tribe District – the happiest-place-on-earth. Sure, your mum may have promised you something a little more… mainstream, but what you’ve got instead is far more memorable: a wellness retreat located 300km from the nearest human settlement, accessible only by two planes and a questionably sturdy canoe up a river famous for its… wildlife. Here, our enthusiastic camp counsellors are primed, prepped, and positively vibrating with the desire to help you find your truest, happiest self. Positivi-tea sessions? Mandatory. Emotional breakthroughs? Strongly encouraged. A little light cult energy? Don’t worry about it.
Sunny Tribe District is the place where joy is manufactured, curated, and always served with a smile – and absolutely nothing will stand in the way of your personal transformation. First presented in 2022 by Robert the Cat in partnership with Metro Arts – where it enjoyed a completely sold-out season – this indie cult-favourite creation now returns in 2026, ready for a brand new generation of thrill-seekers, truth-chasers, and happiness devotees. Parking spaces located under the theatre in the Savoir Faire Car Park (Driveway located next to Maple Fusion Chinese Restaurant). Free on weekends and after 4pm weekdays. Plenty of street parking is also available along Park Road and surrounding streets.
