Harana is a story of a young man who left his rural life in the Philippines to live in Brisbane. His homesickness motivates him to share the story of romantic moments from his recent past before migrating to Australia. Not a typical boy-loves-girl story, Harana breaks the stereotypes of life in the Philippines and highlights the diverse experiences of a migrant who comes to Australia, with the added flavours of songs and food.
