PIP’S STORY
PIP Theatre is the brainchild of businesswoman and arts aficionado Deidre Grace, whose love of theatre and commitment to social justice awareness has led to the launch of PIP Theatre – an intimate 130-seat performance precinct in inner-city neighbourhood Milton.
PIP Theatre operates as a dedicated not-for-profit, registered charity, professional production company and performing arts venue. PIP aims to plant the seeds of social change through Purpose in Performance, providing paid opportunities for local creatives and a platform for professional theatre producers. PIP Theatre champions theatre as a social enterprise. This concept of ‘Purpose’ sees the production of works with powerful messages embedded in the heart of each performance.
